Welcome to Tech N Tone. We believe in straight talk and transparent business. The following terms govern your use of techntone.co.za and any purchases made herein. By browsing this site or placing an order, you agree to these operational rules.
1. Pricing & Product Information
We supply high-end professional audio and tech equipment. While we strive for absolute accuracy, human or system errors can occur. All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR). We reserve the right to cancel any order arising from a pricing error, typographical mistake, or inventory discrepancy. In such cases, a full and immediate refund will be processed.
2. Order Processing & Contract of Sale
Placing an item in your cart does not constitute a contract of sale. A formal agreement is only established once your payment is successfully verified by our payment gateways and your order status transitions to ‘Processing’. We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders at our discretion, particularly in cases of suspected fraud or stock unavailability.
3. Payments & Security
All transactions are securely encrypted and processed through verified third-party banking gateways. We do not store your raw credit card information on our servers. Goods will only be dispatched once funds have fully cleared in our accounts.
4. Shipping & Logistics
We utilize trusted national courier networks to ensure your gear arrives safely. Delivery times are estimates and depend on your location within South Africa. Risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you upon delivery to the specified address. Please inspect all heavy-duty or fragile items (such as PA enclosures or digital modelers) immediately upon receipt.
5. Returns & The 7-Day Cooling-Off Period
In accordance with the South African Electronic Communications and Transactions (ECT) Act, you are entitled to a 7-day cooling-off period. If you change your mind, you may return the item within 7 days of receipt for a refund.

- The item must be in its original, unopened, and pristine condition.
- Software, digital licenses, and custom-ordered items are strictly non-refundable.
- The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer unless the item was delivered damaged or defective.
6. Warranties
All new equipment carries the standard manufacturer’s warranty. Tech N Tone will assist in facilitating warranty claims with the official local distributors. Warranty claims do not cover blown drivers, power surge damage, liquid damage, or general user abuse.
7. Limitation of Liability
Tech N Tone shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our website or products, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of income, or gig cancellations due to equipment failure.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Tech N Tone reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.
